Jason Sarouhan

Jason Sarouhan has offered 25 years of his professional career supporting students pursuing experiential education opportunities all over the world. As a former wilderness and international travel guide and program director, Jason is passionate about risk management, leadership, and personal growth. Jason's own "gap" adventures began in Tanzania studying conservation & wildlife biology, and he and his wife, Jane, co-founder of J2Guides, have recently traveled in: Indonesia, Costa Rica, New Zealand, England, Iceland, Italy, and the Alps, as well as driven their Sprinter van throughout the U.S. spotlighting the American gap year. He serves on the Board of, Co-Chairs the Standards & Accreditation for, and is one of only 8 accredited gap year consultants through the Gap Year Association.
