TTR is the Best!

Tamaki Recruitment was always helpful, patient and supportive from the 1st email i sent looking for a teaching job overseas to the time i settled in my apartment in Japan. The recruiter Tomoko Tamaki is the best, she communicated about every step, how hard or how easy it will be. She checked on my well being during the Covid 19 period hence for me it was that act of kindness that made me i realise i was in safe hands. Very professional and thorough in every step and process, she made sure i sent her the correct information and documents. Everything was outlined to me regarding the way of living in Japan what to expect and how i was to live, it prepared me socially and emotionally. Since being in Japan, Tamaki Recruitment still contact me to make sure I am doing well and happy. Tamaki Recruitment show concern about my wellbeing in Japan and continues to support me every step of the way. I will forever be grateful to Tamaki Recruitment, without Tamaki Recruitment i would have been a bird without wings. Thank you Tamaki Recruitment for everything, really appreciate it, you made my dream of coming to Asia a reality.

A1 work from Tomoko

Tomoko turned a complex process into something bite-sized, manageable, and deeply rewarding. As someone who had never traveled overseas before, I came to her with countless questions regarding teaching overseas---some existential, others purely technical. She always provided detailed answers in a swift and empathetic manner, making sure I understood exactly what to expect during this new undertaking. She also continued to correspond with me after I began work, offering affirmation and support despite already having fulfilled the essentials of her role. Whether you're a seasoned educator or a total beginner out of college like me, expect exceptional service if Tomoko is facilitating your transition.

Pros
  • Responsive and informative
  • Highly experienced
  • Compassionate

Tamaki TEFL Recruitment Changed My Life

Tamaki TEFL recruitment was able to change my life for the better. Coming from a small island and never having left, the process of moving away for work was very intimidating but I decided to take a chance by applying with TTR. I have no regrets. The entire process was very smooth and Tomoko made sure that I felt comfortable, safe, and confident before I left for Japan. She insured that I had the best support from the very first interview up until several months after having settled in Japan. I recommend TTR to anyone looking for a good company to help them start their Journey with teaching abroad. Tomoko's professional, bright and uplifting personality will make you feel like you're in the right hands.

Travel to Japan

My travel to Japan was so special mainly because I had to wait for 2 years to finally make the trip due to Covid restrictions. Tamaki TEFL kept in touch throughout the waiting process and would share information with regards to updates and necessary preparations for smooth travel.

When I got to Japan they would also check on me every now and then and that helped me settle in a foreign land with no family. I am currently in Sendai and enjoying exploring the city, culture and a very diverse cuisine! Octopus has become a favourite! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Pros
  • Adventure
  • Exposure
  • Independence
Cons

ABSOLUTELY TOP QUALITY SERVICE!!!!

Totally loved working with Tomoko and her team. The level of professionalism and the amazing efficiency in communication really made working with TTR the absolute best! It was always my dream to visit Japan and to enjoy the beauty of the country whilst teaching and TTR made me realise that dream by the help they gave me!

Even though it was during covid and it was hard to be certain about many things, Tomoko was always on top of things and would let me know of any progress made and any changes needed, I didn't have to worry about not being informed at all! I really love the way Tomoko creates a personal experience, still checking up on me even till now in Japan and asking after my well being, making sure I'm settling in well.

I definitely recommend TTR to anyone thinking of teaching abroad. You'll get the best service from a team that has great knowledge of the business and a team that cares about you.

Thank you so much Tomoko and the TTR team for your help and support, I'm so thankful and grateful for your help! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Tamaki TEFL Japan Review

From the moment I contacted Tomoko, she was alot of help and a great source of information especially concerning all the administrative work needed to move, live and work abroad in another country.

She answered any questions I had and always went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible in getting me to my destination, whether that was staying on top of the latest news from the MOFA, covid border restrictions, dealing with culture shock etc. For me, this was Japan and it was also my first time going there so I was beyond pleased and felt very secure by the time I landed in Japan.

I can't thank her enough and even now, she still checks in from time to time :)
I'd definitely recommend Tamaki TEFL to anyone looking to start a new adventure.

Pros
  • Prompt replies

Amazing work from TTR!

TTR was always supportive, responsive and helpful towards all my needs/enquiries. Especially as much of the recruitment process was carried out during the pandemic. After COVID had cancelled the inital start date in 2020, it felt like a dream was over, but thanks to TTR not only was the dream kept alive but I was also placed in my ideal location in Japan.! The support didn't dissapear after I had arrived in Japan either, TTR has been there every step of this journey, ensuring I had the best experience possible.

Pros
  • Great level of personal communication
  • Availability
  • Attention to detail

TTR

Tamaki TEFL recruitment went above and beyond to provide as streamline of a hiring process as was possible during pandemic conditions. The position was clearly explained prior to signing on, visa processes were broken down in easy steps, and a pre-departure guide was given to me explaining everything I needed before and during my transition.

Above all, Tomoko's priority was to keep me updated every step of the way. I would recommend Tamaki TEFL recruitment to anyone considering teaching abroad!

Pros
  • Extensive staff support
  • Up-front and professional
  • Personable quality to the hiring process

Questions & Answers

Hi Zac! I am pretty sure that everybody needs at least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) to get the Japanese work visa. I can't speak for the other countries though. Also, there could be exceptions, but you should verify with the Japanese immigration site info: https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html Hope it helped! Have a good one!
