My experience

My experience with Global Work and travel was good. However, if someone would like to do one of these programs abroad and know how to do them without assistance, I would recommend him/her to do them on his own because you spend a lot of money. Money you can save :/. For example, I had to wait three weeks for my workplace to open and they couldn't find another job because live-in jobs were scarce. They tried to be supportive but what came to my mind was, "why didn't they tell me that information before I arrive?" maybe I could have changed the country but thank God I am working already. But yeah, if you don't know how to do it on your own, go with them and try to save money by having the necessary information.

Working Holiday Ireland

The best decision I have ever made! I’ve been living and working in Ireland since November 2022 and I’m a solo traveler, but I’ve met so many people and made lots of life long friends already!
It feels like I live in a movie; I work, I live with 3 wonderful girls on similar trips to my own, I go out heaps and am honestly having the time of my life. I’ve developed so much confidence and grown so much over 3 months; my adventures have only begun! I would highly recommend doing something like this!!

Pros
  • Meet lots of people
  • Develop confidence
  • Make so many memories
Cons
  • Can be daunting at first being in a different country
  • Homesickness
  • Can be a tad bit lonely

Uk Working holiday!

The whole process was easy & stress free. Having a job and accommodation already lined up for me before I left Australia gave me ease of mind. Katy and the whole team really looked after me & ensured I had everything I needed. In return I had the best experience, I made so many amazing friends from all over the world, I travelled and really stepped outside my comfort zone! I don’t regret anything, however Sadly the virus meant I had to return home early, but I’m super excited and can’t wait to get back!

Kate UK

This trip was probably the highlife of my life so far :) The only down side was having to come home early because of the virus. I am itching to get back over there as soon as a can and continue my travels with global.
When I started looking into global, everyone I spoke to was so helpful and excited. The whole application, resume and visa process was made stress free with there help.
While in the Uk I had a lot of contact with the organisers as well and they were always willing to help when they could!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
The hardest part is leaving your family and friends behind at the airport but once you do you don’t look back!
