Do you love skiing, snowboarding and/or mountain biking and want to gain skills to work in these industries? The Whistler Adventure School is the only accredited school in Canada to offer this one-of-a-kind program that teaches the essentials to be able to work 'behind the scenes' in these industries. Become a certified Bike Mechanic, build a custom set of skis or snowboard, learn sustainable trail building and more!
Students will enter Canada with a 1 year study permit with work allowance, and will complete 7 courses plus a 300 hour industry-related co-op work experience to earn their diploma.

In the Mountain Sport Technician program, students gain the knowledge and certification to be a Cytech Bike Mechanic - this is an industry-leader in bike mechanic qualifications to get you working in one of the fastest growing sports around the world!
As part of the Mountain Sport Technician program, students will take the Sustainable Trail Building course, learning hands' on and from master Trail Builder Dan Raymond. Whistler is known for some of the best mountain bike trails in the world, so what better place to learn how to build trails in a responsible and sustainable manner. Part of the Mountain Sport Technician Program, the Experiential Leadership & Guiding Elective is taught by certified Mountain Guides and teaches leadership skills, group management strategies and the practical application of leadership in the adventure tourism industry. These skills are valuable for anyone living in a mountain environment and are transferrable to many aspects of life.
