About Program
Are you keen on a career in fashion design?
Did you know that roughly 2 thirds of students embarking on studies in fashion, drop out and never graduate?
It is therefore absolutely vital to have some experience in sewing prior to studying fashion.
On our Gap Year program, you will learn all about what it means to be a fashion designer, from sewing, pattern making, design concepts to work ethics, digital design & sew much more. You will learn in a beautiful studio setting, at the foot of Table Mountain!

- Our premises are conveniently situated in one of the most central neighbourhoods of the city bowl - Gardens. Travel the city and visit our Wine farms, ski dive, paraglide, see the Bo kaap , visit our many museums and of course see Table Mountain!
- Attend our 3 months, Semester or Gap Year programs - you decide how much you want to learn.
- Attend an average of 4 sessions per week, leaving ample time to explore, volunteer or simply have fun!
- Cape town has awesome fabric shops, great street fashion + a rich cultural diversity - making for one of the most eclectic fashion scenes in the world.
