About Program
Through this unique leap you'll have access to the community spirit of Tanzania – a privilege in itself to get beyond being just a tourist in this famous safari destination.
This 5 week program will let you become a true eco-warrior as you work alongside a Maasai community to introduce sustainable solar power, water harvesting systems and reforestation plans before educating students on the importance of recycling and helping coffee farmers respond to climate change conditions. It's going to be busy.
But it's not all work and no play, as your final week will be spent in Lake Manyara learning about local Maasai culture as you construct a Maasai thatched hut and prepare traditional meals.
As a treat you will venture out on safari at Lake Manyara to see Africa's big game in all its glory.

You will always be with someone, whether a fellow group member or staff member. You do get some free time, like we would go into town just as a group to use the internet cafe and shop, but you're always accompanied on activities and the volunteering projects.
